Hi Alan, I am still around but with increasing heart problems. Had a few stent implants the last one in July. The last two days show symptoms of the past I prefer to do without. Only hope all goes well. I had email contact with Les Rutledge (1964/65) but unfortunately not heard from him for quite some time. Last was about his travel to China where he met a lady he revisited. Other than a few mails with Colin and Fadi Musafa not much to mention. Ah there was a lad who wrote from Canada concerning the 100 yd sprint if my Nickname was Yogi. If so I was the only one he lost (if only closely) to. I was a complete fall-out in UK inter Schools, Dorset. I've tried to contact Mr. Lacklison but only managed to speak to him a few years ago on the phone. Haven't had any reply to further calls. mail box.Hope you are keeping well Alan, drop a mail when you feel like it.
regards Jürgen

I think we would both be pleased to hear from people of our era, how many are still around. A sort of "what happened to" Our classmates for eg. Steven Sayers or Roger Fielding...
Probably all have computer but don't know the Kent School Association- Site. Pity really.

Hi there oldies! Still around after all these years. Started at Kent in 1963 when it opened, in Form 1A with Mr J A Davies DFC. Have posted some form pics on this site a while back and a couple of messages too. Had contact with Cynthia Amorese (Cindy Howard as was) in the USA a few months ago, but I guess there's not too many of 'the originals' out there. Sorry to hear of your health problems H-J, trust that you are on the mend. I hit the big 60 this year and am enjoying early retirement to the full - growing old, but never growing up! If there is anyone out there from the early 60s would be delighted to hear from you. All the best, Andy

Hey Hans Juergen nice to see your still thinking of me. Don't worry I'm still around (59 now) and plan to be for some time yet .... don't they say life begins at 60 Ha Ha !!!. Actually I wasn't there when Kent school started (1965 - 1968) but I was only 18 months short so I suppose I still belong to the golden oldies ... greetings to all Kenties

Just remember another pupil, An American guy, very tall red hair and he layed the guitar quite well pretty good athlete as I recall, we used to call him Billy Whiz. Having read the above threads, I recall someone by the surname Rutledge. My sister Christine attended Kent also. Miss Money was another teacher I remembered, Miss Money was previously in Singapore or Malaya, my dad knew her as they were both in the camera club.
We lived in Wassenberg. Shame so few people respond.

Sad to see some of the old pictures of the old place in decline, but fond memories will for ever remain. I'll try to post some pics that I found that may stir some thoughts, in the meantime, Merry Christmas and all best wishes for 2016. Andy

Hi everyone, any one remember my Dad, Mike Arlow, used to be head of dept woodwork, metalwork, tech drawing from 1963 to 1972? He is 83 years old now & has fond memories of Kent School & our years in Germany (I am his oldest daughter). We emigrated as a family to Australia in 1975. I too remember happy times playing around the school grounds as a child as we lived nearby before we moved to live in one of the teachers quarters at Chatham House. Any one remember that bording school? Good luck to you all!

To Colin Greene -- Believe the red-haired American guitar player/athlete you remember was Billy Russell. He lived across from us at Wildenrath and once wrote a song inspired by some teenage heartbreak I was experiencing ("Don't Cry, Dear Cindy"). Was quite good.

To Rory McDermott -- Think we should know each other as I was also at Kent from inception, returning to U.S. in summer 1966. Were you in 4AB in '65/66?
