Kent School Association

Would there be any folks out there interested a having a together for a weekend in Kettering about November time? Looking towards the 7th and 8th but no dates have been confirmed yet. This only came out from a Facebook chat last night between Sarah, Caz and myself. It’s been so long since we had a group hug, we thought we’d ask the question. Call it a pre Christmas drink!

Last time we had a small shindig we didn't stop laughing for hours (days) afterwards. Can't guarantee that we’ll get the same air guitar semi-naked men in the pub but we can always hope!

All would be most welcome. What do are your thoughts?

Accommodation would be in hotels but if we can get enough folks, I’m sure we can try for a group discount.

that sounds like a great idea! I've been so busy buying a house and all that I've been a bit remiss in keeping in contact, and I have no idea how to use facebook although I registered a profile. I'm a bit nervous about putting loads of personal stuff on a public domain so haven't really used it.

think mr mac is still on his hols? I am really up for this do but i feel a bit weird at the same time, when i was at kent i was 15 now im 51 i know its not a oximoron but its a big deal

Maureen, we all felt a little bit strange and nervous when we had our first reunion but honestly, it was no problem. Old friends met with many more new ones found.

Looking forward to seeing as many as can get there.

Ok - for those umming and arrring about coming for a drink. I've been to a couple of reunions now - never anybody from Kent who was there the same time as me, BUT it doesn't matter!!! Always had a fantastic time, met great people, had great fun and made friends for life.
Go on, you might enjoy yourself!!

I'd love to come but not sure anyone would know who I am....I might look a bit like Billy no mates in the corner with my bottle of wine!
