Subject: I WOZ THERE!

Survived Kent School in the early seventies [1M1, 2M1, 3M1, 4MS and 5M something]. Lived in Dusseldorf, Erich Klausener Strasse. Remember Paul Dobson [Geordie & Newcastle United], Roland Middleton [Accountant], Willie Muir [Chelsea?], Mike Thijm [Donny Osmond lookalke]. Mr Redman [Housemaster - Ra Ra Maidstone!]. Mike Thijm, Roland Middleton and Terry Churchill were all bikers in the West London and Bucks regions in the late seventies but I guess we are older now. Not me, I'm still a biker in Bootiful Norfolk. Remember the RheinStadion [Sneak in thro the swimming pool and the Philipshalle for any British group Quo, Mud, Quattro, Slade, Sweet and Ike and Tina.

Jillian is my sister. She married a Kiwi and went to NZ in 75. Divorced that one and married another! Only comes back to the UK for occassional holidays now. There is a photo of her class in the picture gallery.

Hi Clive thanks for reply. Your sister was in my class in 63. NZ is not just around the corner. You can send my regards if you wish.
Jürgen.

I was there too, in 3M1 and one year before that - do you remember the girl that belched whenever some teacher was giving us a bollocking - it was a nervous reaction she couldn't help, distracted the teacher for a few moments and then our punishment was not as bad as it could have been.

I found this site tonight by complete accident and some of the names, including yours, rang bells in my head. Its amazing what you can drag from the depths of your brain from 40 (ouch) years ago. Saddened to read about Phil Lawrence, one of the other names I recall.
