Subject: Selwyn Loizeau Hi, I was at Kent School from 1970 -2 and would like to know if anyone is touch with an old friend of mine Selwyn Loizeau? Our folks were both based in Bracht. We did meet up as serving soldiers but lost contact when Selwyn left the forces. 22-Apr-2008 14:59:29

Subject: RE: Selwyn Loizeau Hi David - My brother John and I were in Bracht at the same time as you and Selwyn - we lived on Agristasse in the house in front of Selwyn. I don't know how many other people you remember from that time. I'm afraid I don't know of Selwyns whereabouts but I have been in touch with Alec Porter, Theresa Nethercot and Sue Enmarsh who were in bracht at that time. Cheers Jane 22-Apr-2008 15:24:11

Subject: RE: Selwyn Loizeau we had the house in the far corner over looking the playing fields, next door was Alan and David Hewett. n the other side of the road was Francis and Sylvia Joquin and Gina and Elaine Grantham. Tina and Mary Lane were at the other end of Selwyns block. I don't know if you were there when Rosemary and Mike Tate were there - Other names (from Op De Haag) were Terry Innes, Ian Simpson, Tyrone Burton....and Hannis Grant? maybe you can fill some gaps in my memory for me? Do you remember building dens over by the christmas tree plantation which was behind the playing fields? or going swimming at the german school - oh and the Rose Monday carnival? and the Fair? 22-Apr-2008 22:10:31

Subject: RE: Selwyn Loizeau I know my dad wouldn't let us get involved with anyrhing that looked remotely intersting! I remeber the huge row we got into after the german kids raided one of our dens- John punched one of the lads ( or missed him and hit a tree) and ended up in Wegburg with a broken knuckle. While he was there the German police hauled eveyone off and find each one 600 marks for causing damage to the trees! Were you still there when the youth club opened? prior to that we used to have "discos" at each others houses -or Wortham Hall on the camp. do you remember the swimming pool on the camp where the changing rooms were marquies? I'll email you with the "life story" stuff! 23-Apr-2008 12:17:31
