Kent School Association

Does anyone remember me I spent the final two years of my schooling at Kent school. My brother Gary also went but not for long. We lived at RAF Bruggen and headed back to the UK in 1981

Yeah your right I was in 4CT, Ive even got my school report. Tehe!! Still can't remeber any names though, the old grey matter is letting me down. Back then I must have been 6 foot and really skinny. I remember one guy that even grew a full beard while still at school in our year. The rubics cube was the rage back then too. Some details are starting to come back now. Remember the school disco, I think they were on Friday lunchtime?

Appologies Anne I'm racking my brains but can't remember anyone. Informative years eh LOL. I can remember playing cards (Sergent major) most breaks with a bunch of boys and even their names elude me. Getting old was never supposed to be this frustrating. Give a clue as to why you remember me and then the old grey cells might kick in. Just been rooting around trying to find my old school report and yep I found it and sorry Silvia I though that I was in CT but alas I was in JA.

Your bang on the button. Ended up at 6 feet 4 inches. Joined the Royal Navy from Kent School. Got made redundant from the navy and now work all over the world. Whats been happening to you?

I think I know your brother. We lived in Bruggen as well.

Hi Russell - for some reason your name rings a bell at Marham. Seeing as I left school around the same time as you, but I left Kent in Dec 77 (2nd year). I have a class photo from Marham, teacher was Mrs Key with you on the back row maybe??

Hi Bev, yes I was at Marham infant and first schools. By all accounts (My parents) i wasnt the best be behaved child. When were you at Marham? It would be cool to see the picture you have. You name does ring a bell

Hi Russell - daft question but were you tubby or skinny at school. I remember there being two Russell's in the class (I think you were the tall skinny one LOL)! I left Marham in 74 & went to Germany till Dec 77. Will have to dig out the photo & scan it.

Hi Bev, i was the skinny tall one, i also remember there being another Russell as i found it quite strange to have someone else being called the same name. lol Not a common name lol.

Also traveled daily from Bruggen and left Kent Dec 81
