Kent School Association

Hi I was born at BMH Hostert in 1958 which was what the school was before it changed over. I went to Kent school from september 1969 to july 1975. When I was at the school I remember people coming up out of the cellars which were arched caverns with covered trolleys. They had been knocking down bricked up areas between the arches and had discovered the bodies of Monks and the disabled boys and men in their care. They had been forced into the spaces beyond the arches and had to brick themselves in. I wonder who owns the buildings now. Have the British handed it all back to the Germans. It is so huge with such a terrible past you can't imagine that they would want to do anything with it, apart from raze it to the ground.
