Subject: Seeking colleague's, friends and former students

Hi I am still living close to Kent school and have many good memories of teaching there. I would like to hear from anyone that remembers me. Also if anyone has contact details for former teacher Ian Baron please let me know

Hi Des, I was in the school in the early 70’s. I won the BAOR X Country under 18’s title in 71. Bob Sherell used to train me. I also played school football. Joined the Army in 74, stationed in Rhinedahlen 90-92. Residing in Dortmund now. Happy days.

Hello Des, I certainly remember you from way back when - I went to Kent when it first opened and remember some happy times there. John Davies was my form master. I can recall how you organised a group of ‘volunteers’ to dig the long/ high jump pit and then fill it with sand! Backbreaking but character building! Later I went to Sandhurst and a career as an army officer, later working for the government. Good to hear you are keeping well all these years later. With all best wishes, Andy

Just to keep the trend of Tonys going, I seem to remember you were the head master when I was there, sadly this site is getting used less and less ever year but rest assured a lot of people have good memories of being at Kent, especially the boarders

Hi Des,

A while since I met you last. Hope this finds you well. My Mum (Judith) living in Skipton, N Yorks. Sadly my Dad passed away 2019. As you know I joined the RAF and left aged 54. 54!!!! I ask you. 2 years ago I lucked upon a, trip round the school. Truly memorable and reminder of a great time of my life. I visited the corridor where the Mirror Dinghys were built. You built the larger of the boats if I remember. Fun getting them out.

All the best

Neil

I thought you were a teacher. "Colleagues" is a plural. Apostrophe 'S' is for omission or possession.

Yes I do remember you, particularly that you seemed to want to be best friends with the male 6th formers. However, it's nice that you still care about your ex pupils and colleagues.
