Hello Maggie! This has made my day - a name to which I can can actually put a face and associate to specific events, particularly in Dusseldorf (we were really lucky to live there)and on the dreaded coach journeys to and from school - if I recall correctly you were one of the 'back seat gang'. Do you remember Mrs Bird, the bus escort? Within the Kent school website are occasional references to the commuting - definitely a shared experience - also quite a few other names and recollections from people you probably knew from Dusseldorf. Somewhere in the dust of the attic, I think I have some photos from a party (held in our cellar) - might be tempted to try and track them down.

I used to ride on the back of the Dusseldorf bus, what a long commute to school. Maggie didn't you used to date one of the Canadians? I remember drinking lots with them in the cellars of our parents flats and houses. I got suspended from Kent for drinking in the bar opposite the school one lunchtime.

Hello Phil! Gosh! Did we ever do the drinking thing. Yes I did date a Canadian but we went to Italy & they went back to Cananda. Last I heard Blair had a studio on Yong Street, approx 4,000 miles long! We lost touch. That 'back seat gang' thing is a good memory bag, pics of the old school well spooky...remember the gun & rifle shooting in one of the basements? Keep posted ...Em xx

Maggie. If you go onto page 8 of the Kentie Guests section of the site; on 9 Jan 07, Brian Sharpe posted a message. There was an e-mail address - whether it's still live...... Also, if you haven't yet looked at the photo section (Path: School/ Picture Gallery/ Our Photos) the one with the 'dodgy' Tonbridge 6 formers might spark the grey cells. A few fellow Dusseldorf commuters.

Speaking of the commute between Dusseldorf & school.....were you there when Hoss (I don't remember his real name)burned his hair & eyebrows lighting up a smoke? I don't think we ever fooled Mrs. Bird with our smoking in the back! LOL

Eh? I remember headbutting another kid on the bus who was giving me constant lip. I have a vague memory of Hoss setting himself on fire. It must be a slow day in the office, eh? It's going to be stinking hot here today.

Lunchtime (well sort of) at work, just found this old thread.

Maggie, were you the Maggie who was a freind of Heather Moyce, and who turned up one day without eyebrows ?

Also I think you appear in Brian Sharpe's Kent School picture show on You Tube too (with eyebrows)
