YAHOO!!!! - my tickets for Download have come through!! I know Caz is going and we have arranged to meet up - anyone else out there going? I'm camping from Friday - I'm so excited about the whole thing I'm packed already! How many sleeps Caz?

No, not this time but i`ll be there in spirit...Jagermeister and Asbach.

I will have it on the radio and annoy the neighbours...( sweet revenge!)
Mind you, Download would be a great venue for a reunion.

Ok - got the tickets, camping pass and car park tickets....Mate is bringing her tent and chairs, packing wellies and jacket incase it rains - shorts and t shirts and sun cream incase it doesnt - do I need the first aid kit? lights? kitchen sink?

I'm checking the weather tomorrow morn before we go.. it's says it's going to be heavy showers on sat so far.. typical!!
Plasters might be an idea.. it's a flippin looooong trek to the arena from the campsite this year!! Torch to prevent tripping over guide ropes and i think you can leave the sink behind.. by the sounds of it there will be enough water around!!
Packed an emergency pack-a-mac... called a bin bag!! Highly fashionable and black.. lol

Ughh, i feel like i'm one brain cell away from being an ameoba!!
Got scorched/wet during the day and frozen at night! Wish i'd put a thicker beer coat on!! Bod almost forgiven me but brain still dead! Thankfully no need for a first-aid kit, but in need of some TLC for the sunburnt parts!!
Some brill bands, wailed along but had to escape at 1am this morn.. pyromaniacs were getting getting too close for comfort, never packed up so flippin quick to get out!!
All in all a great time had... Only 350 odd sleeeps till the next years onslaught!!
Great catching up Jane, will send pix when the attention span lasts longer than 2 seconds and i can lift my head to the vertical postiton!!

Download was totally AMAZING!
It was great meeting up with Caz and family and head banging to Moterhead and Judas Priest.And I got right to the front to see Kiss - apparently I was stood with hard core festival goers ’The Moshers” They all sway and surge in a mass but by now I was caught up with the atmosphere and giving it some welly!
On Saturday the highlight was seeing Saxon but also watched Offspring and Him and caught more bands who although I hadn~kt heard of them were excellent.I went to the fairground and did a White Knuckle ride which is a big thing for me as I get dizzy watching them
There was loads of stalls, a stunt bike display (bikes on ramps and leaping over things)
I can~kt believe how quickly it went and what a great atmosphere it was - I haven~kt laughed so much in ....well can~kt really remember. I have no voice apart from a squeak
Thanks for the great company Caz. I can't wait to do it again Maybe we should have a Kenty Fest next time?
