Hi Maureen, Just had a look but don't let yourself be fooled. There are no faces - only the bush next to the entrance, whos branches, give the impression of a "face" and the other "outlines" are broken windows. That guy Apfelsaft has a vivid imagination that's all. Think of my time at WBS in Hamm and 63 - 65 at Kent the Peg Leg Story Hamm and the Lady of Kent later evolved though the cellar gangways and corridors. - Only for childrens' imagination. Kent was never haunted during my time and certainly not later.

As to the comments, maureen, you are on the right track - sepp the only thing mysterious to me is the orange waste paper bin,Shox believes to see a little girl but it could be the bush, another comment do you believe in ghosts? So you see the comments are almost a year old and the writers are having the author(Apfelsaft) on. As simple as that.

Thanks Hans I didn't see any faces in the picture, but I can understand why people may think the old place had some kind of ethereal thing going down, I like to think that the positive vibes laid down by all of us during our time there cancelled out the misery that went before us.

Hi Maureen, thanks for your reply. If there ever were any "ghosts" I'm sure they'd have joined in among the jovial bunch. Let's stay serious, the atmosphere Kent received through ambitioned scholars and respected staff is really second to none.Age played no matter there was mutual respect. I can only recall having had the utmost support from all - being German was accepted and not only tolerated. Still I started English Schools (infants) at about 4 in Brunswick so I grew up bi-lingual being interpretor at School from as long as I can remember. But back to the actual thread - I had sent Colin a Mail proposing him to pursuade Marcel to made some photos available for a collage "then and now meaning Our Time 63 - 87 when ist was closed.
Perhaps some interesed readers have interior Photos of the Rooms, Science Lab and so on. At my time there, we didn't have a gym. Mr. Lacklison should have many spledid memories, having started from point zero with us.Perhaps he will look into the site someday..
Keep up your interesting comments, Maureen
