Finally arrived back at the old building in 1975. Was in Class 5TD with the Webmaster, but can't remember the class for the next year 6?? - I didn't know I'd be tested on it in later life - had enough problems remembering my name. Was an in-mate at Deal House for what was a fantastic two year period having been previously incarcerated at the boys only School in Dunblane (QVS) for the previous four. Lived in Antwerp, where my dad was the RSM, during the holidays and was pals with Sarah Wellar and her sisters, Bob Brett and his sisters, David Fenton and his sister and anyone else who had sisters! (Only joking, my lips are sealed forever - or until I'l supplied with the correct amount of beer). Sarah's mum and dad ran the youth club and that was a good experience. I have a lasting memory of Lorna Brett trying to complete a 10 mile sponsored walk in the HIGHEST heels you have ever seen - she looked 'hot' that day but didn't make it to the end without a lift in a landrover - maybe that was the intention all along - she did get to the BBQ first and caught sight of the Chef torching himself! My two brothers (Jim and Alan) went to Kent from 74 - 76. Managed to get to the reunion at Skegness and more importantly managed to get home again (phew). I should be out of de-tox in time for 2006. Happy days - shame we didn't fully realise it at the time.

Was in Maidstone House, last form Tutor was Mr. Redman we really were horrible to him. I used to knock about with Mike Tate, Lindsay Turner, Charlie Bendall and others who's names I can't recall. Had a crush on Jayne Butcher who used to be a close friend of Christine Espie. I was taught French by Miss Lowther, who I knew from my previous school in the UK . . I was sure she was following me ! My parents used to have a houseful of kids whenever there was a good band playing at the Philips Halle in Dusseldorf. When my Father was posted back to Brize Norton I stayed at Deal hous to finish off GCE's and fell foul of Mr Murrel. It was a long time ago !

Another new guest book??? Blimey!

Anyway... Was at Kent from 1972-1974. Tonbridge, Miss Oxley was our form teacher. I was in 1TX and then 2TX. The only name I can remember now is *Taff* Lewis - he lived in Heinsberg I think, I lived at RAF Wildenrath. Happy days on the bus to and from school!

Those school disco's at lunchtime rocked! Popcorn was a floor filler:

The seemingly endless queue's for lunch, and diving for cover when the 6th formers came charging to join the queue!

By eck, them were t'days!
