well well, a few names I remember from the distant past. I boarded at Deal. Remember the play Oliver? The little boy who ran out and pretended to lead the orchestra waving his hands around like a demented spider? That was me!! Nothing but great memories, remember Bob Brett, and his sister Donnella,(we used tio hang around in the same group at play/dinner time. Remember being scared witless at going up to thr top floor birthing area!! Great nights out at the blue pool, again remember the prat with a cast on his leg that fell in the pool on the day of the cup final when Southampton beat Man Utd, yes you guessed it , that was me to!! Had some very good and close friends, to name but a few, Nigel Rickaby, Mark Bailey, Graeme Kennedy, the Lucas sisters all three of them,Please anyone who remembers me and had the stupidity to make contact please do. Would be nice to hear from anyone. Cheers to all you Kent people and especially the boarders. Great days.

Hi, I loved Kent school, the best days of my life! The school building was very strange but pupils were fab. I was in Miss Hall's form with Mr Martin as head of year. I heard that both of them are still at the school. I lived in Krefeld (hi to all the Krefeld gang I am in touch with). My bessie mate was little Sharon Kitchen from Duss. Some of you may remember my sister Christine, she was the loud one and didn't get on with Mr Cassidy! I think the site is great and it does only feel like yesterday since I was in Hostert. Great memories.

I have come across some old names on friendsreunited and the Yahoo message boards - Kim West, Jackie White, Janet Wren, Cindy Chandler, Jenny Quarantine. This is the best site yet .... keep up the good work :-)

Hi, well I'm amazed to have ended up on this site. Been reading the messages, can't say I have a lot of clear memories of my school years and classmates, long time ago. Unfortunately, the strongest memory is not a good one, as it was the only time in my life I ever hit anyone and it was a teacher!!! (well, he did hit me first) Mr England, who was our history teacher. We were supposed to sit still, facing him with arms folded and not move a muscle. I'm afraid I just couldn't do it for very long, and he whacked me with an atlas. I thumped him back (almost got expelled - as well as poss. problems for my Dad) but the head was great about it (can't remember the name unfortunately). Apart from that fiasco, I've been a good girl (well, most of the time). I'm still in contact with Glynn Ellis, who was in my class and lived on the Bruggen camp. I remember Philippa (Pippa) Martin, Craig Chapman and Colin (2 of them). The person I'd really like to contact is Zina Dajda. Anybody know anything? (She had an older sister - Alina) Great idea this website.

G'day all! Just found the site after a brief search and just wanted to pop my head in & say HI! I was in the last couple of years at Kent (it was Windsor the last year I was there) and must say that most of my memories involve trying to find ways NOT to attend most days! Plenty of freezing cold mornings standing at the bus stop in Elmpt (Bruggen) waiting for the bus, sneaking a quick fag in an empty garage around the corner! My form teacher was Mr Martin for one of the years & the only other ones I recall are Mr Morpeth (physics) and Miss Clifton (geography). It's a pity I'm so far away, I'd love to go back & have a look at what's left of the place - from what I've heard that's not much any more! Pity. Plenty of history.

See Ya!

Some names that spring to mind are Mike Phelps, Maggie Tolmney, Sue Coggles, Gillian Black, Dave Rootham and the inimitable Jimmy Pearce. I have overwhelmingly good memories of my 3 years at Kent, including the long daily coach journeys to and from Dusseldorf - oh we did put the escort, Mrs Bird, through it. The school had a special spirit and encouraged the right sort of confidence. I was so proud of the experience that I would often wear my 6th form tie when I started work a few years later!

I was in Mr.Price's home room 1MPR Maidment House. Holy crow that place was big. Used to sneak around some of the forbidden hallways...that still smelled like hospital. Yuck! Had fun hanging around some of the junk cars, and the field over by the far fence, next to that zoo. Never could get used to the knickers for the gym clothes. How many threads did you pull out of your tie??? you know to be Cool! Remember the lunch hour disco? Yes the Box step..to the Bay City Rollers oh ya and T-Rex. Those were the days

Hi everyone, not been on here for ages. Glad to see so many new names have been added since my last visit. I lived in Krefeld. Denise McFaul I remember you. Nice to see Mr Young has left a message, I have great memories of Kent, probably the best was doing "Oliver" in 76, which he was heavily involved with. It was brilliant meeting up with everyone at the last reunion & looking forward to the next one, If I can make it. Anyone that does remember me then drop me a line. Cheers all.

Mind you, I have been called many things over the years.... Kent...the best years of my life....no seriously! I've been a civil servant at RAF Henlow to long. I think its time to start living again. Cheers to Caz....This reunion thing looks like a blast. The PA (Party animal inside is stirring...and it isn`t a mouse).
